City Dog – Brighton Grunge Punk Trio – At just 17 years old, City Dog quickly made a name for themselves in the local music scene, becoming known for “turning a mosh pit into an absolute frenzy” at their own sold-out shows. By 18, they had already shared stages with legendary acts like the Buzzcocks, Bob Vylan, and The Wytches, and joined Surfbort on their European tour. City dog have since smashed out UK and eu headline tours.

Pleiades come to Coventry for the first time with their highly anticipated new EP, If Your Roots Run Deep, You Can’t Fear The Wind. Recorded with No Studio (Pijn, Bossk) in their hometown of Manchester, this marks their first full release since their acclaimed 2023 debut album, Affinity With, which earned them critical praise, including a feature in Kerrang!, who described it as “a blend of twisty post-rock and gunpowder-packed hardcore” with “a sound that could easily carry them to rock’s big leagues.”

Desinteresse is a Dutch coldwave band consisting of Bart (bass), Joppe (drums) and Sem (vocals/synth/guitar). The band comes from the southern province Limburg and was officially formed in November 2022. The band started out as a duo, but has been functioning as a three piece since 2024. Their latest release is the 7” single ‘Grijze Dromen’ (August 2024). All releases up until now have been released on their own label ‘DECADENCE’. Their aim is to recreate the sound from a past era, using only analog equipment, seeing this as a form of art, identity and expression.

Cold, abandoned and non-existential feelings mark the melancholic and gloomy atmosphere on stage. Still sounds and voices are not primary – though the message is.

Nadia Reid’s Enter Now Brightness is an album of departure and questioning, a reminder that songwriting can transform pain, joy, thoughts, and anger into something new. “I’m so much better off now that it exists,” she says. “Now feels like a new time.”

Moving further from her folk roots, Reid establishes a sound distinctly her own—poised and expansive. The title, drawn from a book passage, evokes light breaking through, the feeling of stepping onto a stage, of life beginning.

A record of great beauty and change, Enter Now Brightness captures Reid’s evolution, blending textural pop, country-leaning folk-rock, and striking emotional depth. The Guardian describes her sound as “halfway between Haim’s sophisticated pop sparkle and Sharon Van Etten’s full-throated songcraft.”
