For ten unforgettable years, The Upsiders have captivated audiences with their unique blend of eclectic instrumentation and genre-defying sound.
We couldn’t imagine a more fitting venue for our final performance than Tin Music and Arts—the very stage where we launched our first album back in 2018. It’s a homecoming, and we intend to go out on the highest note possible.
Please join Callum, Joe, Ian, Riley, and Nathan for one last incredible evening. We will share songs and stories from all ten years, alongside a final helping of our signature sushi-based lyrical puns. Come be a part of our farewell celebration for a night of music and memories we’ll never forget!

Wednesday 31 December 2025Sink or Swim present Emma Tricca + Pete Greenwood
Friday 16 January 20267:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Early bird £12 | Advance £14 (+ booking fee) The Tin At The Coal Vaults
Championed by John Renbourn and Odetta at the start of her career, and subsequently encouraged by Jane Weaver and Andy Votel who would release her first two records (Minor White and Relic) songwriter/guitarist Emma Tricca's unique style has often been compared to a meld of Greenwich Village icons Nico and Patti Smith.
For her most recent collection Aspirin Sun, Emma teamed up again with Jason Victor (The Dream Syndicate) and Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) to conjure an alluringly psychedelic sound redolent of 70’s folk-rock yet totally distinctive.
She’s toured extensively with Jane Weaver, Nick Mason (Saucerful of Secrets band), and Robyn Hitchcock, and notably collaborated with Judy Collins, Bridget St John, Jesse Chandler (Mercury Rev, Midlake) among others. BBC6 presenters Guy Garvey and Gideon Coe have been loyal supporters alongside USA stations – WFMU and WFUV – and print media such as Mojo, Uncut, Record Collector, Shindig, The Guardian, and The Times.
Pete Greenwood gained his reputation as a guitarist during his university studies, and an extensive period of gigging in South London. The hours put in and the experience gained landed him tours in The UK, Europe and North America as an in-demand session guitarist. Upon returning to London after a trip to Japan/US with Mojave 3, he found himself with a record contract and an album’s worth of original solo material. 2008 saw the release of his debut album “Sirens”. Met with critical acclaim, he then juggled projects with The Loose Salute, The See See, and session work for Starsailor, with tours alongside The Magic numbers, Goldfrapp, The Raconteurs and The Brian Jonestown Massacre to name a few. Again, the second album “Beauceron” was written in a similar vein and released after his return to Yorkshire and a break from touring in 2015. Pete followed this with “Radio Slow”, recorded with The Dark Stars in a flurry of pre-covid activity and released in 2020.
