STRANGE ADVENTURES
Jackdaw With Crowbar, Satsangi, Superhooch, The Caroline Bomb

Entering a world of glistening sequins, tripadelica riffs, sonic drones, thumping bass and rock n roll schizophrenia

JACKDAW WITH CROWBAR – Because you’re worth it.
‘Bass culture meets EDM and co in a dark alley full of sequins’ Expect dramatic shenanigans on and off stage, including and for the 6th time since the ground breaking show with Stewart Lee back in 24 they are introducing new permanent collaborators Aitch Bembridge (Selecter) and visual artist Paulina Kalwarska. Entering their 8th dimension not only are they presenting some familiar classics and a healthy dose of new audio and visual material there’s a treat in store for anyone that likes to mix their music with live media manipulation!!!

”The best thing to come out of Leamington since the Grand Union Canal” Stewart Lee

“The guitarist plays magnificent slide and shred” Thurston Moore

“Tonight I thought they were shit, they thought they were shit, the audience thought they were groovy” Steven Wells NME

SATSANGI
Blending indie riffs to tripped out psych-n-roll, often raucous sometimes serene.

Satsangi have gigged internationally and throughout the UK as headliners at venues such as Leamington Assembly and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. They have been invited to open for artists such as The Dandy Warhols, The Kills, The Primitives, and Dirty Sound Magnet. Satsangi’s debut album was reviewed in Rolling Stone and the band are currently finiishing a 6th studio album titled ‘Year of The Pig’. Their recent single ‘Mabel’ was track of the week on BBC CWR.

“Iodine is an awesome song” Talvin Singh

“A wicked bass line, timely sax breaks, and pace-setting rhythm guitar sections. This is a find!”  Rolling Stone

“I feel I could play that for the next hour or so, but the I’d lose my job, she sounds brilliant her name is Sujatha Menon, she’s the lead singer of Satsangi”.  Bobby Friction, BBC Asian Network

“Satsangi are spunky new wave.” MOJO

SUPERHOOCH
Superhooch – Coventry’s own Psychedelic Pirates – have been tearing up stages for over a decade with their ferocious brand of raw, high-octane garage rock. Known for their towering riffs, unrelenting energy, and a swagger that drips pure punk spirit, they conjure a sound that’s equal parts theatre, danger, and unhinged rock ’n’ roll attitude.

Fresh off the release of their third studio album Gallons of Gold (June 2025), Superhooch bring a colossal, riff-drenched live experience that’s as tight as it is explosive. With a reputation as true rock ’n’ roll vagabonds, these seasoned outlaws deliver the kind of show that leaves no stage unscarred and no crowd unshaken.

THE CAROLINE BOMB
The Caroline Bomb…turbo charged art-punk from the centre of Coventry. fast lyrics, winding guitars and thumping bass and drums.

SOLD OUT | Josie Long: Now Is The Time Of Monsters

£22adv (+ booking fee)
The Tin At The Coal Vaults

SOLD OUT

A new show about extinct gigantic, charismatic, megafauna from 3-time Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominated Comedian, and very good comedian Josie Long. In these troubled times, in this wicked world, it can feel like apocalypse is everywhere but did you know 11,000 years ago there were some really big armadillos? I’m talking about as big as a car. Really big. And they were vegetarian so don’t even worry about them. Also my daughter has a hamster and I’m not saying distract yourself from everything, but I’m saying he’s also part of everything. Josie is back with a new show about discovery, wonder, extinction and how to walk through a landscape of monstrous disaster. There is also a good tip about silt, guaranteed.

***** The Skinny “If stand-up shows can be known to punch down, then [Josie] buoys us all up.”

**** Guardian “wild-firing imagination”

**** Chortle
