KUUNATIC was formed in Tokyo in 2016, by 3 female members who have completely different musical and cultural backgrounds.

Thier first EP: KUURANDIA released in December 2017, integrates traditional Japancese music, Latin music , prog rock, psych rock, dub music, horror film soundtrack music, ect and expresses theor outlandish world created out of impulse.

They explore primitive drumming, pulsing bass lines, atmospheric keyboard sounds with Japanese local instruments. Topping with 3-female vocals, its music makes listeners trip into their ritual fantasy land.

Something more recent

In August 2018, KUUNATIC released a single “Roho
Ulio Toweka” as split 7′′ record with a fuzz garage
psych/blues band CROCODELIA from Taiwanese label
MUTNTKND. In the same month, the band returned to
the UK for their second-time UK tour, playing 16 shows
including a festival and support of Japanese psych
stoner rock band QUJAKU. Touring in Taiwan in
January 2019 and joining a compilation album due to
release in March 2019, there are more unmissable news

Timothy’s Experiments

Timothy’s Experiments is a brand new project from Timothy Ellis. All analogue semi-modular synthesiser compositions with a strong focus on melody, countermelody and extramelody. Different every time, part planned and part improvised the sound morphs between bit pop and sublime noise, elongated experiments interspersed with short complete compositions.
Ellis has a broad musical background dating back to 1969 when he played spinet with The Avonside Trio, fast forward to the 1987 John Peel sessions with his seminal multimedia group Jackdaw with Crowbar. “the best thing to come out of Leamington since the Grand Union Canal” Stewart Lee – “The guitarist plays magnificent slide and shred” Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth)
In the dub scene he’s known for both analogue and digital production, functioning as General Theory of Dub…”this ain’t no white guy from Warwick” Jah Shaka (Nick Mannaseh, Kiss FM)
