Manchester-based CROMLECH produce “…the sort of heavy-machinery industrial that flourished in the late 1980s, from Swans and Neubauten through to Big Black and Godflesh.”
The 2022 debut album “Questionable Strategies” was released to acclaim in publications such as The Quietus.
The crushing new album “Executive Summary” will be released on Deathbed Tapes on 5th May 2023.
It’s a meditation on the state of the anthropocene, the nihilism of our fouled politics, the medieval foundations of the ruling class and the weaponising of megalithic portals to deeptime wisdom.
ATTRITION are pioneers in a darker electronica. Formed in 1980 in Coventry, England, influenced by a mix of punk ideology and experimental art aesthetics, they emerged as part of the early ’80’s UK Industrial scene alongside contemporaries Coil, Test Department, Legendary Pink Dots, In The Nursery, Portion Control et al.
Founder Martin Bowes has steered the band through a 42 year career, fuelled by a succession of critically acclaimed albums.
ATTRITION are currently working on the release of an all new album for spring 2023: The Black Maria, which will be supported by a series of shows around the world with the original eighties line up, back together after nearly 30 years.
LUCIFER SKY is the solo project of Indira Lakshmi, which began in 2018 as an amalgamation of field recordings and composed melodies, as a sonic exploration of physical space. She uses a mix of techniques including field recording, programming, microcontrollers, DIY Electronics and composed sound using various instruments and found objects.
