Everywhere at Once: Voka Gentle

Voka Gentle are one of the UK’s wittiest young bands, but they wear their intellect lightly.
Throat-grabbing, avant-garde indie rock songs studded with eccentric choices: a synth with its keys jammed, playing a ghostly tune of its own making; field recordings – Morris dancers, motorbikes – captured on binaural headphones.
This event is funded and powered by The National Lottery and Liveline to support and celebrate a weekend of music in our nation’s grassroots music venues!

Amps screaming. No exit in sight.
The Schizophonics kick the door in and never let it close.
This San Diego–based three-piece delivers a live show that’s loud and dangerously fun—an all-gas, no-brakes blast of feedback and groove. It’s full-contact rock ’n’ roll: high voltage, high velocity, and sharpened to a blade.
The band features Pat Beers on vocals and guitar, Lety Beers on drums, and Sarah Linton on bass. Together they unleash a fuzz-soaked, funk-fueled attack built on pounding rhythm and feral energy. Every song hits like a charge. Every set feels like the floor might give out. Blink and you miss something. Stand still and you get run over.
Forged on the road and fueled by motion, The Schizophonics have torn through stages in fourteen countries, earning a reputation as a must-see live act that turns rooms upside down. Channeling the raw spirit of James Brown, Iggy Pop, Jimi Hendrix, Little Richard, and The Sonics, they strip rock back to its most dangerous elements—and set them loose.
Behind the chaos is precision. Behind the noise are hooks that bite.
The Schizophonics are currently finishing their fourth full length album, due out at the end of 2026.

We’re turning The Tin into a two‑day mini fest because It’s Not A Phase, Mum! is TWO and we’re celebrating like the unhinged alt family we are.
Night One (17th): Karaoke Bingo — your favourite karaoke chaos but with bingo cards, stupid prizes, and the kind of song choices that would make your teenage self proud. Doors 7:30pm
Night Two (18th): Our first ever Band Night, featuring local alt acts and a few of our karaoke regulars, icons, legends doing what they do best. If you’ve ever watched them destroy a Papa Roach chorus, you already know this is going to go off. – Doors 6pm

There probably aren’t enough thick books and serious documentaries recognizing San Antonio as a musical epicenter. But even if there were, they wouldn’t be nearly as much fun as Garrett T. Capps’ new album, I Still Love San Antone. With all the heartfelt zaniness audiences have come to expect from the S.A.-based singer-songwriter, the album pushes far beyond any novelty record format. Capps’ masterful work of offbeat regional storytelling incorporates fired-up country-rock and retro Tex-Mex instrumentation with a genuinely psychedelic worldview.
ll genre bending effect.

Adam is a Scottish indie-folk songwriter. He is a solo artist and has also led the cult indie band Randolph’s Leap for over a decade. He is known for his unique brand of articulate lyricism which blends humour, poignancy, wordplay and offbeat stories. In recent years he has collaborated with C Duncan, Andrew Wasylyk and Jenny Sturgeon, releasing music via Fika Recordings, Pictish Trail’s Lost Map Records, Olive Grove and Fence Records.
Adam’s third album ‘Bring On The Apathy’ was recorded onto tape using analogue techniques, capturing the warmth, intimacy and personality of Adam’s music. It showcases some of the most emotionally open, lyrically deft and characterful songwriting so far from “one of Scotland’s most talented singers and songwriters” (Klof).
“Sheer class” – BBC Radio Scotland
“Charm and character to spare” – The Scotsman
“Ross’s storytelling and songwriting is still second to none” – The Skinny
“In a fair world, this literate, funny, humane album would cement his status as a national treasure.” – Klof
“The Scottish Father John Misty” – For The Rabbits
“Ross’ lyrics have often been described as “witty” or “clever” but this sells his talent a bit short; his words are incisive, insightful, astute, literary, informed, inventive and best-of-all relatable.” – Resound Online
