Everywhere at Once: Voka Gentle

Voka Gentle are one of the UK’s wittiest young bands, but they wear their intellect lightly.

Throat-grabbing, avant-garde indie rock songs studded with eccentric choices: a synth with its keys jammed, playing a ghostly tune of its own making; field recordings – Morris dancers, motorbikes – captured on binaural headphones.
