BBC Introducing ‘Growing Nai’ orchestrates raw poetic streams of consciousness. Writing to heal and understand trauma she has faced, Growing Nai seeks to connect through shared experience with her audience whilst going through chapters of poetic survival and discovering the lessons & soul meaning from her life … all over original music & beats
Join Nai on her 2023 Tour of her first album ‘All One (alone)’, featuring tracks produced by AB Youniverse , FreshDread, Infamous Dimez and FYKO as well as collaborations with John Bernard, Shakti Blu, Mason the Healer and Oluv Polo.
The night will feature a collaboration with John Bernard. Bernard is a Coventry-based poet and rapper known for his powerful and socially conscious work. He has featured on BBC Radio 3’s The Verb, BBC radio 5 live, BBC Contains Strong Language Festival, BBC 1xtra as well as performing regularly around the UK. Distinctive delivery, commanding voice, an intricate lyricist his content is authentically raw and potent. He has undoubtedly carved a lane for himself infusing Spoken Word poetry, Alternative-Rap and Neo- Soul.
