Mo’Grace Projects Presents Open Mic Night

Saturday 25 November 2017 8:30 am - 11:00 pm
Free Entry

Hi there, we are Mo’Grace Projects, a small group of people dedicated to making an impact on people’s lives in the little ways that we can.

This project is one of them.

We are currently planning an Open Mic event on the 25th of November to raise awareness and funds for the Children of Broad Park Centre in Coventry.

Broad park Centre is a short break residential unit, in Coventry, for young people with a learning and/or physical disability and additional needs, who look after young people between the age of 5 up to their 18th birthday.

We went to visit them quite recently and it was quite eye opening, the little things we take for granted. Even though we had lots of fun playing and painting with the children, we could not help but feel we could do something to put even bigger smiles on their faces. The bonus of this would be helping the great people who work with the children feel even more fulfilled with the special work that they do.

If we had a magic wand, we would want to buy them a new minibus (to take the children out) that could accommodate more than one wheelchair space. If we do get to raise that much, it WOULD be an awesome Christmas, even for us! In the meantime, the plan is for the money to go towards things that we CAN achieve; like more fun days out and new experiences.

Enjoy a Saturday Evening with some fantastic local music at the atmospheric and comfy coal vaults.

All styles and all genres of music welcome, Whether a band or a solo act, the Tin has a qualified sound engineer and a full back line to support you.

All welcome. Saturday the 25th from 6:30pm-11pm.
