The Tin Music and Arts Launch 2014

Tuesday 01 April 2014 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Free Entry

On the 1st of April, we are throwing our Launch 2014 Opening Night. Starting at 5pm and free entry all day, we’re starting off with a fantastic art exhibition by former Tin Angel employee, Emilie Gould.

Emilie’s exhibition will debut on the 1st of April, and will be left installed in The Tin at The Coal Vaults for the duration of the Launch until it ends on the 20th.

“The Tin Angel embodied the desire of a few, shared by many, which was to provide an environment for cultural expression uncommon in the city in which it lived. For the people of Coventry who frequented it, myself included, it was a world full of possibility, with the potential for new friends, new collaborations, new loves. It was a world that transcended its location, far beyond the walls that surrounded it, and when the doors closed for the last time in 2011 something was lost. The ideas, music and art that brewed alongside the coffee, live on in the hearts and memories of everyone who passed through the door. This exhibition is a remembrance of the old and a celebration of the rebirth.

The evening will also feature live music from Delightful Young MothersRobin Plays Chords and He Is A Pegasus.
