The Tin Open Mic Spotlight: Songs From a Ledge

Sunday 19 October 2014 8:30 pm - 11:00 pm
£1 Entry on the door

The popular musical returns to The Tin at the Coal Vaults as our Spotlight Act on Sunday 19th October. Based on the troubled life of fictional jazz ‘n’ blues star Maria Lynwood, whose career spanned the 20th century, and of Annalie, her great granddaughter, lost in life and desperate for something to fight for. The show is co-written and performed by new talent Amy Kakoura. Fresh from one of the UK’s top performance academies, she is already in demand as an actor and a featured vocalist, having recorded and performed with concert guitarist Richard Durrant and folk legend Gordon Giltrap, as well as regular performances with her own bands, The Brownstone Leapers and the Meta Four.

Open Mic Slots are still available either side of the Spotlight Act, so if you’re interested in playing, please head down and get involved!
