Spotlight presents… VEDA

Sunday 25 June 2017 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
£1 ENTRY

VEDA is the bedroom pop project of Birmingham, UK based multi-instrumentalist Dominic Antonio Sepúlveda. VEDA’s sound is a melting pot of inspiration and takes influence from Dominic’s roots in Birmingham, while also importing lo-fi and DIY culture from across the Atlantic.Influences include the likes of The Cure, Beach Fossils and Hibou.

After performing live throughout the year, supporting the likes of Fufanu and Horsebeach, VEDA released their debut EP ‘Soir’ in April which is available on Bandcamp and Spotify. ‘Soir’ is a lustrous blend of casiotone keyboards, jangly guitars, lo-fi drum machines and earnest vocals. ‘Soir’ was written and produced entirely by Dominic in his bedroom studio in Birmingham.

Doors at 8pm | £1 entry.

Regular open mic slots are available as normal – arrive on time to sign up!
