Sven Kacirek (Hamburg/drums) has released three solo albums thus far, including the highly praised “Kenya Sessions” in 2011. He has collaborated with Marc Ribot, Nils Frahm, Hauschka and F. S. Blumm.
After a tour through Southeast Asia and Australia Schneider Kacirek are looking forward to presenting their highly acclaimed debut album Shadow Documents (Bureau B) to audiences in Europe.
The Wire magazine about Shadow Documents: “Their melodies are models of economy, three or four notes articulated by bass, synth or a tuned percussive stark. Decorative flourishes, when present, are similarly austere. If this music were a machine, it would be one with few moving parts, and each one absolutely to the whole.”
