Ian Bland performs one last time before heading back to Australia. He is joined on stage by local musician friends including Lucy Sale, Jools Street, Drew Coleman and more.

Melbourne singer songwriter and poet Ian Bland has gained a loyal following for his weekly poem on Radio 3RRR’s “The JVG Radio Method.’

He has spruiked his verse in concert halls, ballrooms, The National Gallery, coal vaults, pubs, cemeteries and the steps of Parliament.

“Drifter” released in 2008 and 2012’s “Angel in Reverse” blend a lifetime of musical influences with insightful stories drawn from contemporary rural and urban Australia, with topics as diverse as the drought and the demise of suburban pubs.

“This is music that sits on your aural palette like a deep red wine, warming your soul and inspiring reflection in the listener” Jarrod Watt – ABC Radio
