Godiva Festival organisers are once again bringing Godiva Calling back, the popular battle of the bands competition which gives local talent the chance to play at Godiva Festival in July.

The competition for local bands and acts will be separated into four genres, where contestants will be able to battle it out through heats to win a slot at the final. The winner and runner up in each of the four categories will be offered a slot at the festival.

Both signed and unsigned acts are invited to apply for the competition.

To apply for the competition visit www.godivafestival.com/godivacalling where acts can find all the dates for this year’s contests and showcase finals, plus all the entry requirements. Bookings for the contests will be managed by the appropriate venues for each genre.
