Growing up along the south coast, Elisha’s music was undoubtedly influenced by nature and her surroundings as well as a love of traditional folk and spiritual music.
At 16, Elisha self-released an EP titled Words are Not Enough, before leaving her sea-side hometown for music college in the heart of the Midlands.
The years that followed saw Elisha become the lead singer of Eden Canvas, a rock/pop band that went on to win a UK battle of the bands competition and perform at Musikmesse festival in Frankfurt, Germany. The band came to an end a couple of years later and Elisha took the opportunity to gain experience collaborating with other songwriters and producers.
In 2013, she featured on ‘Clandestine’ – a track composed for film trailers and released as part of the album Goddess by Twisted Jukebox.
Now, with a plethora of new material and a successful Kickstarter campaign under her belt, Elisha is again setting out to perform, record and release her own music. Her second EP From the Ground Up is due to be released in Spring 2018; A blend of rich vocal harmonies, acoustic influences, and an urban electronic edge.
