Electric Electric is a French trio whose music is composed of looped and live guitars, drums, and electronics. The band was created in 2005 and have since played many shows in France and Europe, having also been invited to SXSW in 2010 and Pop Montreal in 2011.

They provide a sonic density: a physical liberation of bodies; the repetition as a call to dance. Their percussive music evokes a trance where the polyrhythmic elements spread in a lightning way. Influenced by noise, post-punk, electronic and spectral music in equal measure, these three musicians play with the codes of music such as minimal electronic and futuristic r’n’b as well as ancestral and ritual musics.

Electric Electric play pop music with complex outlines: their own vision of ‘dance music’.

Support comes from Coventry’s very own purveyors of post-rock, Those Amongst Us Are Wolves and Scottish electro-flavoured alternative outfit Foreign Tongue.
