We’re excited to bring the fantastic Desperate Journalist to Coventry on their October tour!

“A modern masterpiece” 10/10 Louder Than War review of Desperate Journalist ‘Grow Up’ album (2017)

DESPERATE JOURNALIST are a North London post-punk quartet whose new album ‘Grow Up’ released this year on the legendary Fierce Panda label to widespread critical acclaim. With rotation on 6Music and single ‘Why Are You So Boring?’ gaining airplay on Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 show, the band play a short run of live dates in the Autumn – this gig is the only opportunity to catch them in the Midlands.

“Akin to riding a roller coaster whilst blindfolded – There’s twists and turns, peaks and troughs, you never quite know where it’s heading next but it’s a fun journey” – review of Ghosts of Dead Airplanes ‘The Yellow EP’ (2015)

GHOSTS OF DEAD AIRPLANES are a Birmingham-based trio playing ‘unhinged punk fury in a fuzzy, angular, and delightfully confrontational way’.
