Coventry University East Asian Film Society Double Bill

Friday 02 May 2014 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm
£3 per film / £5 all night

The Coventry University East Asian Film Society comes to The Tin at The Coal Vaults for a special double bill screening as part of our Japanese Culture Festival this May. The first film, ‘Fish Story’, directed by Yoshihiro Nakamura, tells the story of a ‘punk song that saves the world’ – a film about a rare single by an obscure punk band that changes the lives of characters in seemingly unrelated scenarios throughout the decades since its release. Following that, we have Takashi Miike’s ‘For Loves Sake’, a musical exploration of love, hate, revenge and forgiveness.
£3 for each film or £5 all night!
