We’re super-pleased to bring CHORUSGIRL + EMMA KUPA to Coventry before they play Indietracks festival in July!

“There’s no slack on the album–from the starting gate to the finish line, Chorusgirl bristle with static and nerves.” Drowned in Sound 7/10 (‘Chorusgirl’ LP review)

CHORUSGIRL make noisepop, blending the sounds of Lush, the Cure, The Breeders, Pulp, the Bangles, surf, girl groups, melodies, dirt, jangle and noise into a swirling and shimmering mix that spins your head until you’re dizzy. First album ‘Chorusgirl’ received great reviews from Drowned in Sound, Line of Best Fit, Allmusic and MusicOMH.com. Following a great set supporting The Spook School at The Tin in 2015, we’re delighted they’re making a return visit 🙂

“One of the best kept secrets in British songwriting for the past decade or more” London in Stereo (Emma Kupa ‘Home Cinema’ mini-album review)

EMMA KUPA stepped into the limelight as the lead singer, bass player and songwriter for much loved (and missed) indie heroes Standard Fare, and has since been a frontwoman in Without Feathers, Mammoth Penguins and the Hayman Kupa Band (with Darren Hayman of Hefner fame). Her first solo mini-album ‘Home Cinema’ (“six songs of spritely jangle-folk-indie-country, about family, death, drink problems, holocaust survivors and communism”), was released on Where It’s At Is Where You Are in 2015 – her second solo album follows this Autumn.
