Bootleg Theatre Presents – Tales From The Street
Four monologues by 4 different writers reflecting the out-of-office-hours lives of four very different characters.

DES RES by Gwynne Power – Des is homeless and would probably tell you why but – as he says himself – you probably wouldn’t listen anyway. A darkly comic , thought provoking tour of his ” abode”.

SELENA by Karen Bartholomew – Selena is a prostitute working to fund her way through Nursing college. A sharp, funny & original take on an age old profession.

ESME by Annie Cooper – This uncompromising piece is a window into the wreckage that secretive drinking can heap on a family. Performed by the Author.

PET SHOP BOY by Michael Burnham – A funny but cautionary tale as CON reflects on the aftermath of several farcical burglaries. By the Author of DARK JOURNEY and HANGING HANRATTY.
